With the Corax crashed on a planet after its encounter with the non-coporeal being known as "The One" which destroyed the fleet, the crew are now fighting to survive in a harsh, post apocalyptic wasteland.
The planet was formally once home to an advanced society who destroyed itself over a century ago in a nuclear war, due to this, the planet has a unique type of ionizing radiation in the environment which prevents the use of directed energy weapons and tricorders, as well as some other technology.
The Corax's engines were destroyed on impact meaning that she has no hope of ever regaining orbit under her own power, leaving the crew stranded and in a desperate battle of survive, using the crashed wreckage as shelter while attempting to hunt for food and possible a source of water that is not irradiated.
With the emergency beacon in place, the planet becomes a desperate race for survival when the crew discover that not all the people of this lost civilization were destroyed and have over a century, mutated into hideous creatures who pose a very real danger.
