With Admiral Frostmane in the final stages of a deadly neurological disease dubbed "Equus Syndrome". The crew have to face their reality that their leader may not live to see the end of the week.
While researching a cure, Doctor Kieran Braveheart discovers that it may be possible to remove this virus from Admiral Frostmanes genetic code if he uses a comparison between a normal healthy Argussian and Admiral Frostmane. It may also be possible to use the Transporter to filter out the genetic virus that has afflicted the entire Argussian species.
However Starfleet, worried about the technological superiority of the Argussians has forbidden the Corax for attempting to cure Diamond and Captain Ecto has to make the decision of attempting to steal the Corax out of Earth Spacedock to take the Captain back to his homeworld in the Altia Galaxy.
In order to get there, the Corax will also have to break into Jupiter Station where the remnants of the small vessel that Admiral Frostmane came to the Milky Way is being kept. Using Argussian technology, D'kmal may be able to enhance the Corax's engines to use "Pegasus Drive" and open a wormhole to the Argussian Homeworld.
But will the Argussians be willing to help one of their exiles?
