::Starfleet Personnel Database::
::USS Avenger NCC-91986::
::Recruitment Program::
The USS Avenger generally does not recruit members from the general SL population as we are fairly limited from our status as one individual vessel with a close-knit crew resembling the crew of the USS Voyager.
However if a person wishes to join our crew then they must follow these general guidelines as stated below;
- Recruitment on the Avenger is invitation only by a current serving member of the crew. Applicants can request sponsorship from a member however it is up to that specific member if they recommend that member to command.
- The new recruit, if successful at securing a sponsorship will be the sole responsibility of the crew member who is sponsoring them and will remain in a probationary period for a minimum of a month before being promoted as a full member with all the rights and privileges.
- Members must either have payment information on file or must be a minimum of 3 months of age.
- Members from other Star Trek Groups ARE accepted and their individual rank BELOW the rank of Captain (Since we are a single ship) WILL be respected when they come aboard.
- Members must have these traits;
* Attend the weekly roleplay each week, or have a valid excuse why they are unable to attend. (Such as Work, RL Engagements... etc)
* Must have a good sense of humor and more accepting of the more casual type of roleplay that is present on the Avenger.
Anyone is accepted regardless of race or any other personal factors, we are also very furry friendly.
Members are encouraged to get involved with the crew of the Avenger and will be accepted into the Avenger Facebook Group for even more fun and games as well as ship announcements.
We do NOT aim to be arrogant or less accepting of people. Our experiences in the Star Trek SL Community have taught us that not everyone will appreciate the more casual roleplay that our ship has to offer. We have also done this so that our group will never incur negative side-effects from recruiting, such as easy access for trolls or accusations of "poaching" which have commonly thrived in the community. ANYONE can be sponsored however this method provides an additional layer of security and helps us to determine if you are a good fit for our vessel.
